When a troubled, manipulative teen at a boarding school tells a damaging lie about her dedicated teachers, the lie ricochets through a New England town, destroying the careers, relationships, and, ultimately, lives of those victimized by it.

The Children’s Hour, Lillian Hellman’s first play, was inspired by a court case in 1810 in Scotland. An intense study of the power of a lie, the play is as relevant today as it was when Hellman wrote it in 1934.

The Children's Hour is a drama and contains mature themes.
A gunshot sound effect will be used in this production.

The videotaping or other audio or video recording of this performance is strictly prohibited.
